Positive Wellbeing: Flourish and Thrive
Developed to optimise employees physical, social and psychological wellbeing, using positive psychology theory and frameworks, employees are introduced to a range of psycho-education, skills and strategies to use both at work and home. Employees leave the workshop feeling empowered, revitalised and optimistic.

Positive Coping
We can all experience situations that may trigger a stress response. Knowing how to look after ourselves when this occurs and proactively prepare for future events is important to our personal and professional wellbeing. Using a combination of cognitive behavioural, solution focused approaches and positive psychology you will learn the skills and strategies to navigate challenging situations with confidence, optimism and autonomy.
In this workshop you will learn:
- The psychobiology behind the stress and anxiety we may encounter
- Reactions we might have to the stress and how they impact our day to day wellbeing and performance
- Positive coping skills and coaching psychology models that are implementable, accessible and scientifically supported.
Mental Health awareness
Mental health awareness encourages employees to be more aware of their own mental wellbeing, deepen their understanding of the factors that affect wellbeing and learn implementable proactive strategies to strengthen their resilience.
By the end of this training employees will ;
- Understand the mental health continuum.
- Learn how the language we use around mental health can be of detriment, and how we can use it as a source of motivation.
- Recognise symptoms of depression, anxiety and burnout.
- Identify areas where your own mental health can be improved.
- Learn and apply psychologically evidenced tools that pro-actively support mental health and wellbeing.
- Know how and where to access mental health resources and support.
Mastering Resilience
12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions. Investing and promoting wellbeing will save money. Mental Health.org 2020.
- This scientifcally evidenced workshop improves an individual resilience factor (psychological flexibility) that is associated with people's mental health, level of sickness absence, work task performance, and general life functioning.
- Certified and experienced in using both ACT and mindfulness- the premise of this programme- this internationally accredited group programme is for anyone who would like to know how to adapt, accept and live more resiliently with a values driven mindset.
- Delivery of this three-session accredited programme (timing & scheduling is flexible) empowers employees to practise resilience and mindfulness in all aspects of their professional and personal life.
- Employees emerge from this training increasingly mindful and demonstrably more effective in their role, engage in more meaningful activities that are aligned with their values and goals, and develop a mindset that is focused on adaptiveness and resilience even if the challenges remain.
- Employers/employees wishing to extend this growth can be referred for my follow up specialised 1-1 coaching services.
SafeTalk Certification - Suicide alertness for everyone (age 15+)
safeTALK training is available to anyone in the community aged 15+ and professionals. Due to the nature of this training, it is only available face to face.
As a safeTALK-trained suicide alert helper, you will be better able to:
- Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts may
be present, - Overcome barriers in talking about suicide,
- Identify reasons we may miss, dismiss or avoid suicide.
- Practice using the 4-step TALK model of suicide alertness.
- Know how to connect people at risk of suicide with further appropriate help.
Each participant will receive a Certificate, wallet sized reference card, “Talk to me” stickers and resource pack.
In addition to my scheduled community workshops, private training can be arranged for organisations to equip their employees to recognise and respond to suicide ideation. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
